The sense in Traveling

I spent my childhood traveling in a variety of places which led me to a lack of sense of belonging anywhere in the world. I’ve seen plenty of vacationers along the way, who by their way of expressing themselves and their behavior it could easily be understood that they traveled for a mere vacation. They weren’t accustomed to travel more than a few weeks per year.
Vacationers are people who look for something different from what they’re used to do for a few days , such as those who go for a few days to town, or to the countryside, or to the beach… they usually follow other vacationers either thinking that the other tourists are smarter than them or just to put up with the Jones.

I think that it’s not fun at all to go along with what the travel agency suggests (even though it’s good for the economy of whatever country it is; without tourism some countries will fall into crisis). In my opinion if someone wants to go in a holiday somewhere, even for a few days, it must be in a place that is very very different from his own, otherwise why bothering?

I remember that we used to have a month vacation every year when I was a child. Well we spent it at home. It was a very very different place from our daily life. The Holiday is for the one who has enough of what he is doing, If someone loves his job why taking a vacation, which is not always instructive by the way ?

Traveling is not a holiday. To Travel is a life, even a job. Such as truck drivers or reporters for example. To travel we need knowledge, experience, courage, will and audacity. Those who spend their lives on the roads, need to know how to find an accommodation when it’s a maniac holiday, they need to know what to do when they run out of gas in the middle of nowhere, they need the knowledge of how to cross a border without too much fuss, they need to have tips on how to get a hotel room paying half the price, it’s to notice when the car behind you is in a hurry, and by courtesy you let him pass… It’s not about visiting a foreign place and to make a lot pictures and bringing souvenirs home. I know what it is to travel. There aren’t always good memories, some dreadful moments remain printed in the mind.

There was a time, a very long time ago, we rented a car from a rental company, but this car was defective and we needed to change it in the nearest location which was over a mountain. So we took the road, we didn’t know how the road was at first, but getting closer to the mountain top, the road changed completely.

And there, was where the story took place. It was a winter morning, we were driving up the mountain when we noticed that the car wasn’t following the wheel. There was a high ravine on our left and the mountain wall on our right, as the car was defective and the road was snowy and icy, the car was sliding between the right; where the mountain wall was, and the left; where the ravine was, and then to the right and back to the left all over and over again. We could have fallen and died that day, if it wasn’t for my dad’s experience. There was no one else on the road with that weather except us. And that’s not all, we didn’t have winter tires as the car was rented, we had all season tires! When we crossed over we arrived in Salt Lake City, we were so relieved that we went to Mcdonald’s.

There were countries that left me with lots of dreadful memories (and that wasn’t so long ago), that I wish to forget. Going in a holiday and traveling are two very different things. I’ve seen travelers along the way, there was once an Italian and an Argentinian woman traveling together from Brazil to Argentina by bus, arriving at the boarder, every passenger had to step down with their luggages to be checked. But there was a lot of “confusion” among the customs, they didn’t seem to know what they were doing. Well that Italian found the situation very amusing, he didn’t stop laughing and smiling at the way the customs were working. The lack of pictures he took, the number of stamps in his passport, the small quantity of luggage he had, his behavior meant that he was an experienced traveler.

Putting the finances to the side, it is important to travel for the sake of knowledge and for the love of what God has created. It will never be the same being in Chichen Itza and seeing it on TV. You’ll never see the long forestal road from Cancun which leads there, the small local shops, the small villages. It’s not the same being at the Iguatzu Falls, hearing the tremendous sound of the water, being wet by the steam and seeing it on TV. The experience leaves a mark, a memory while seeing what others show you leaves a memory of what has been seen, period.

To travel is not meant to find its true self, unless you’re in a spiritual journey to whatever holy place, it is meant to see the world, the world is so wide, so diverse, that it will be unjust to ignore all of it for the mere love of a home. Home is not the same for everyone, for some it might have a claustrophobic sense, or a place of trouble with the neighbors, or a place of quiet and peace. I know the value of home, it is a peaceful, joyful, loving place where wonderful moments take place, but for someone like me, home becomes a boredom after some time. Where are the new people, cultures, languages, towns, mountains, lacs, forests, birds, trucks, roads, etc….? We can find anything online nowadays, but it’s very very different from living it .

No way I’m going to tell you folks to go traveling abroad just because the others did so, it has to be from your own will. But I can tell you to take a vacation overseas, because it’s good for you and for the economy of the country you’ll be visiting. You’ll learn many things if you do.

Don’t prepare your journey, don’t get a package from your travel agency, make your own ticket online, book your first hotel and that’s it. Leave the rest when you get there, take a map and chose your own route, your own towns, what you really want to see, don’t follow what other tourists follow. Make your own trip a memorable one. Eat the local food, you might love their cuisine and do it at home when you get back. Make local friends which might enhance your holiday.

See the world because you live only once.

What exactly is our ‘self‘?

This is a question which has been asked for millennia, many answers have been proposed but didn’t seem to satisfy the one who inquires. I’ve written two posts about it; Do we own a spirit and Is consciousness material or immaterial? If that isn’t enough, I’ll try my best to convince you about what I believe.

Every living creature has its outer shell and inner self; may this be a fly, a mosquito, a horse, a bunny or a human being. God gave us our inner self to help us, to guide us and to be a witness against our outer shell which is our body and brain. We are all made of two selves, either being aware of it or not.

The inner self is our conscious or soul if you’re a believer. No one hears that self, no one can witness it except the One who created it and our outer self. What we choose to show on the ouside is what others know us by. What the others define us to be; good, careful, cheap, cruel… we have chosen a character that suits us but not necessarily who we really are. But when we are alone and we don’t need to play the character anymore, we let our inner self take control.

Every human being is alike, it is a lie if someone tells you that it’s not true. We can’t let our conscious/soul be seen by anyone, it is as private as our own sins. Some people prefer to hide their tender heart showing only rudeness, being sure that they don’t care about “who ever it may be”, but as soon as he is alone he let his tears flow and anonymously he helps the person in need.

Our brain makes the decisions, works, speaks, thinks, makes us live our character… but our soul is the one who brings us back to the reality of this life when our brain stops to control us with the daily chores.

Some people say that they are searching for happiness, they will find it only when their soul/consciousness will be at ease. It is their own souls that are not happy, for some reason they’re not living what they are meant to live.

We will be what we were meant to be, when we’ll find happiness in our daily lives.

The 1st step

Hey guys,

I’m bringing glad tidings !🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌

I’ve started working for free!!

Yep! I’ll get a testimonial and a reference at the end . 😁😁😁😁

Isn’t it great?

I’ve been looking for over 3 months now . No one was interested in my skills. When I proposed for free, many showed up. 😕

Among which 3 I’m interested in.

Today I start working for a dear friend from WP. I hope she’ll be happy with the results. 😱

I’ll be less present from now on I guess. 😑 but I’ll be here .

Did you ever made a wish that came true shortly after? Did you ever said to yourself “Wow, I’ve been in the right place at the right moment” ? Well usually that kind of stuff we call it “What a coincidence!”. But if we think deeply over it, we’ll find out that nothing is a coincidence.

Dr Deepak Chopra said in a book called Synchro Destiny that coincidences are in fact a multitude of incidents happening at the same time, so they are co-incidents. Everything has a point. If it rains, that’s because the water has evaporated somewhere, and a certain heat turned the water into steam which condensed into clouds, from which water drops fall. So when something good or bad happens, it is meant too happen, there isn’t a thing you could do to avoid it. Here is are two verses saying the same thing:

The Cow 2: 216

But it may be that you dislike something while it is good for you, and it may be that you like something while it is bad for you. God knows, and you do not know.

Hud 10:107

If God afflicts you with harm, none can remove it except He. And if He wants good for you, none can repel His grace. He makes it reach whomever He wills of His servants. He is the Forgiver, the Merciful.

I know that as human beings, we have our weaknesses, but we have to make our best to avoid crying or revenge over a property (either a pen or a ranch) we’ve lost or to take pride over something we did which we might not have succeeded if we weren’t meant to succeed.

We live in a chess board, we are either the Pawns, the Knights or even the Kings, so we may be in checkmate anytime, we mustn’t be desperate every time something goes wrong, nothing lasts down here. Play your part and try to win it for the next life.

A land of dreams

Another collaboration with the talented Uzma. She gave me this wonderful inspiring picture.

This post, is what I see looking at it.

How sweet would it be to live in Middle Earth? Away from this world of greed and hardship. In a place where Elves, Dwarves and Humans live in peace even though they’re different species. How much on a scale of a hundred, would we have declared a war to the Elves and Dwarves if they lived here on Earth with us? We’re not apt to live with a different specie as we’re not even apt to live amongst us.
My land of dreams is Middle Earth, a time and place that never existed due to God’s knowledge on our stupidity and violence. A place where dreams can come true and where magic is part of the society. Everyone has a different perspective of Heaven, but in my imagination, Middle Earth is the perfect one. Life on Earth is not eternal, yet some people want to take advantage of any opportunity even if it is on the back of other human beings. I have a very close friend who has hard times at work because her co-workers want to snatch her place at whichever the cost may be. If she has the job she has, it is because she’s good at it. Why would some other human beings backbite and make plots to take something which isn’t theirs? In my opinion, they’re headless about the hereafter. They believe that only this life exist and when they’ll die they won’t have an account of their deeds to give. How wrong is their belief!
Heaven is not free.
Heaven is expensive, you can’t buy it with money, fame or wrongdoings.

A lost audience

Here we go again, a second collaboration with the brainstorming Uzma. She has an awesome creative mind. Please stop by her blog and share a comment.

Can you guess who’s parts are these?

Rain drops sliding on my face
Warm tears blinding my eyes
Can’t hide the pain anymore
A trust shattered in pieces
My heart was ripped last night
When I saw you with her
I ran away as if I was fleeing
Fleeing from my thoughts
Fleeing from the truth I’ve seen
My heart was pounding so hard
That I thought I would die
Die of shame and disappointment
Can hold anymore to this life
The rain keeps washing my fears
And my tears still blurring my hate

And then I saw the smile on your face,

That bright, shiny sparkle in your eye,

You felt so real, so complete, so confident.

As I looked back, I realised..

That is not how I knew you..

I loved you for I felt you needed me,

To make you laugh, to take away your worries.

Yet in my selfish love I forgot,

That was I who needed you,

You needed someone else,

Someone not perfect in the worldly eye,

Someone who couldn’t walk or talk,

To support or entertain you,

To share some jokes, to tell you story,

To sing you a song.

And there you are,

Singing, laughing, dancing away,

To muse and entertain.

Perhaps you and I are both clowns,

For a different audience,

For another play…

I wiped my tears to hush my fears,

To let sleep my shame,

To gather all my broken parts,

For another show, another part

Another time, another puzzle,

The life throws my way.

Q&A with Ariana Evans

Let me present you to the lovely Ariana. She’s an avid reader, writer and perhaps future journalist. Be sure to check her out.
I had the honour to make her an Interview that she accepted to answer. Let’s make a lot of noise for Ariana Evans:
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Hello Ariana, welcome on the Novus Lectio’s interview post.

Why did you start blogging?
Not sure exactly, almost two years ago, I think, or maybe two years.
Would you do some activities in secret (such as blogging, working, diving….)
I write in private because I can talk to myself out loud, and people think I’m weird if I do that in public, and if I don’t do that sometimes I can’t figure out the story in my head before I even put it on paper. 😋
Have you traveled abroad?
Yes, five countries in Europe, in 2016.
Mac or Windows?
I’ve never had a mac. I would say Windows.
What’s your best pass-time activity?
That’s a hard question. I will give you my top…haha, reading/writing/blogging/journaling.
You’d rather pick a veg dish or a meaty one?
MEATTTTTTYYYYY! 😊
Have you ever tasted foreign cuisine?
Yes, Italian food in Europe. Does Panda Express count for Chinese? *laughs* I don’t like Mexican, but I’ve tried it.
Did you ever found something you’ve lost?
Yes, little things every-once-in-a-while. I even lost a pair of shoes…multiple times…hehe.
If the continent you live in is to be submerged by water, which continent would you chose to live in?
Oh, ouch, that’s sad for my continent. xD. Um…Europe!
Do you believe in God?
For sure, of course, absolutely. He is real and wonderful. 😀

Thank you Ariana

The downfall

What would you say if someone told you that we’re sharing Earth with another form of life which is not part of the animal kingdom?

What would you say if I told you that we’re not the only living beings having knowledge on Earth?

How would you respond if I told you that you are being watched even if you’re alone?

No, I’m not going to speak about science fiction. I’m going to talk about a realm that existed and still exists on Earth well before Adam.

Some of you believe in ghosts, some don’t. Personally I don’t believe in “ghosts” as they’re intended to be. But I believe very much in an entity that might have known the person which was to be called “ghost”.

Hence this entity if willing, might very easily take the place of this deceased person for instance and makes us believe that he is that person’s spirit. Or just be a malevolent spirit if he wishes to.

This is just an example of course. I never witnessed a ghost and I’m not willing to meet one either.

I’ve made some research on this weird paranormal being who shares our world. I haven’t found any explanation on the scientific domain but I’ve found some on the Holy Scriptures.

This being who is not perceived by any of our 5 senses, neither by any sophisticated machines, has a few names and has a multitude of images according to the people’s imagination.

Spirt, demon, devil, ghost, Jinn…. Unfortunately as not being made of matter, it cannot be proven existent. We can only believe in this entity by trusting the word of God and by our own experience of the evil on this world.

Now, what I’m about to describe is what I’ve found on the 3 Holy Scriptures and my personal thoughts on the topic.

Let’s start from the beginning, shall we?

God created the Angels made of light. We can easily see that on movies talking about angels, they always end up by showing light somewhere in the movie. They’re not made of matter/particles hence they don’t have a gender yet some people expect of them to be females or babies.

God created another species which was originally pious and obedient like the angels made from smokless fire. Among them was lucifer/the devil. We can easily see the devil in most movies made of fire or turning into fire at the end. This species on the contrary can have ofsprings and can die. Nothing is said about their life’s span though. One thing for sure, the devil isn’t dead yet.

And finally Us, the humans made of clay. Apparently we have the shortest life span.

God says in the Quran:
I did not create the jinn and the humans except to worship Me.
I need no livelihood from them, nor do I need them to feed Me.
Those who do wrong will have their turn, like the turn of their counterparts, so let them not rush Me.
God is the Provider, the One with Power, the Strong

When God decided to creat the humans, He said to the angels, “I am creating a human being, from clay, from molded mud. When I have formed him, and breathed into him of My spirit, fall down prostrating before him.”
So the angels prostrated themselves, all together. Except for Satan. He refused to be among those who prostrated themselves.
God said, “O Satan, what kept you from being among those who prostrated themselves?”
He said, “I am not about to prostrate myself before a human being, whom You created from clay, from molded mud.”
God said, “Then get out of here, for you are an outcast. And the curse will be upon you until the Day of Judgment.”

As you can see, the devil isn’t a fallen angel, he never was. As angels are made of light and the devil made of fire. Angels were obedient while he wasn’t. Unfortunately for his species, lots followed his example:

God said to the angels, “Bow down to Adam.” So they bowed down, except for Satan. He was of the jinn, and he defied the command of his Lord. Will you take him and his offspring as lords instead of Me, when they are an enemy to you? Evil is the exchange for the wrongdoers.

Yes, we can find in the Quran that the devil is part of the Jinn ethnic group (if I may say so). It seems that he produced the downfall of his own kind as he did for ours.

And not all Jinns are bad either. Will tell you about it in a minute, but first let me explain how some people describe Jinns.

I’m sure that the first thought that comes to your mind is Aladin, right? You rub the lamp 3 times and hop! The jinn comes out asking you to make 3 wishes.

I like that Jinn. When I was small I tried to rub a lamp and see if one would come out, unfortunately he didn’t.
In the reality jinns can’t be seen or heard, they share our world (maybe in another dimension) they have the ability to see us, hear us and even tempt us. Hard to believe? Not so if you believe in God.

The word Jinn refers to any object that cannot be detected by human sensory organs, including Angels and Demons. Thus every Demon and every Angel is also a jinn, but not every Jinn is an Angel or a Demon. Jinns are related to heavenly beings, who is able to sin and created from fire, unlike their light-created counterpart.

The chapter 72 in the Quran speaks about them or maybe for them. As they can have faith too. The chapter starts like this:
Say, “It was revealed to me that a band of jinn listened in, and said, ‘We have heard a wondrous Quran. It guides to rectitude, so we have believed in it; and we will never associate anyone with our Lord. And Exalted is the Majesty of our Lord—He never had a wife, nor a child. But the fools among us used to say nonsense about God.”

Or in another verse that says:
Recall when We dispatched towards you a number of jinn, to listen to the Quran. When they came in its presence, they said, “Pay attention!” Then, when it was concluded, they rushed to their people, warning them.
They said, “O our people, we have heard a Scripture, sent down after Moses, confirming what came before it. It guides to the truth, and to a straight path. O our people! Answer the caller to God, and believe in Him; and He will forgive you your sins, and will save you from a painful punishment.”

These entities resemble humans for their need to eat and drink, procreation and death, being subject to judgment they will either be condemned to heaven or hell according to their deeds.

As the Jinn were banished from heaven, they had no more right to listen/ know what the angels knew. The skies have been sealed for them hence they spend their life here on earth just like us till they die. This means that they could see and interact with the angels.

In the Bible it is mentioned that Salomon enslaved demons:
When a demon named Ornias harasses a young boy who Salomon knew, by stealing half of his pay and sucking out his vitality through the thumb on his right hand, Solomon received from the archangel Michael a ring with the seal of God after he prayed in the temple which will enable him to command the demons. Solomon lends the ring to the lad who, by throwing the ring at the demon Ornias, stamps him with the seal and brings him under control. Then Solomon orders the demon Ornias to take the ring and similarly imprint the prince of demons, Beelzebul. with him under his command, Solomon now has all of the demons at his bidding to build the temple……

The Quran speaks about Salomon too but in a different story in chapter 27:
16. And Solomon succeeded David. He said, “O people, we were taught the language of birds, and we were given from everything. This is indeed a real blessing.”

17. To the service of Solomon were mobilized his troops of jinn, and men, and birds—all held in strict order.

18. Until, when they came upon the Valley of Ants, an ant said, “O ants! Go into your nests, lest Solomon and his troops crush you without noticing.”

19. He smiled and laughed at her words, and said, “My Lord, direct me to be thankful for the blessings you have bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and to do good works that please You. And admit me, by Your grace, into the company of Your virtuous servants.”

20. Then he inspected the birds, and said, “Why do I not see the hoopoe? Or is he among the absentees?

21. I will punish him most severely, or slay him, unless he gives me a valid excuse.”

22. But he did not stay for long. He said, “I have learnt something you did not know. I have come to you from Sheba, with reliable information.

23. I found a woman ruling over them, and she was given of everything, and she has a magnificent throne.

24. I found her and her people worshiping the sun, instead of God. Satan made their conduct appear good to them, and diverted them from the path, so they are not guided.

25. If only they would worship God, who brings to light the mysteries of the heavens and the earth, and knows what you conceal and what you reveal.

26. God—There is no god but He, the Lord of the Sublime Throne.”

27. He said, “We will see, whether you have spoken the truth, or whether you are a liar.

28. Go with this letter of mine, and deliver it to them; then withdraw from them, and see how they respond.”

29. She said, “O Counselors, a gracious letter was delivered to me.

30. It is from Solomon, and it is, ‘In the Name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful.

31. Do not defy me, and come to me submissively.’”

32. She said, “O counselors, advise me in this matter of mine. I never make a decision unless you are present.”

33. They said, “We are a people of might and great courage, but the decision is yours, so consider what you wish to command.”

34. She said, “When kings enter a city, they devastate it, and subjugate its dignified people. Thus they always do.

35. I am sending them a gift, and will see what the envoys bring back.”

36. When he came to Solomon, he said, “Are you supplying me with money? What God has given me is better than what He has given you. It is you who delight in your gift.

37. Go back to them. We will come upon them with troops they cannot resist; and we will expel them from there, disgraced and humiliated.”

38. He said, “O notables, which one of you will bring me her throne before they come to me in submission?”

39. A strong jinn said, “I will bring it to you before you rise from your seat. I am strong and reliable enough to do it.”

40. He who had knowledge from the Book said, “I will bring it to you before your glance returns to you.” And when he saw it settled before him, he said, “This is from the grace of my Lord, to test me, whether I am grateful or ungrateful. He who is grateful, his gratitude is to his own credit; but he who is ungrateful—my Lord is Independent and Generous.”

41. He said, “Disguise her throne for her, and we shall see whether she will be guided, or remains one of the misguided.”

42. When she arrived, it was said, “Is your throne like this?” She said, “As if this is it.” “We were given knowledge before her, and we were submissive.”

43. But she was prevented by what she worshiped besides God; she belonged to a disbelieving people.

44. It was said to her, “Go inside the palace.” And when she saw it, she thought it was a deep pond, and she bared her legs. He said, “It is a palace paved with glass.” She said, “My Lord, I have done wrong to myself, and I have submitted with Solomon, to God, Lord of the Worlds.”

In early Jewish mythology, there are beings called Shedim, that resemble the Jinn. They’re invisible to human eyes but are subject to bodily desires, like procreating and the need to eat, and both may be malevolent or benevolent.

Christian demonology say that the mission of the demons is to induce humans to sin, often by testing/abandoning the faith in God, commit heresy or apostasy, remain or turn themselves Pagan or venerate “idols” (the Christian term for cult images), and gain the highest number of “Satans” or adversaries of God. (Ephesians 6:10-17):

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.
11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.
12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,
15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
19 Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel,
20 for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.

It is also said that demons torment people during their life or through possession (Matthew 17:15-16), or simply by showing themselves before persons to frighten them, or by provoking visions that could induce people to sin or to be afraid.

Demons can take any desired appearance, even that of an “angel of light” (2 Corinthians 11:13-15).

13. For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, masquerading as apostles of Christ.

14. And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.

15. It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve.

Now that everything is explained, can you be sure that there isn’t a jinn standing right beside you now?

I’ve seen some YouTube videos on paranormal activities. I’m not sure that they’re all authentic. Nowadays we can easily manipulate any video. But surely there must be a few real ones among them.

My last thought on the topic is that, these fellow inhabitants might be living next to us or they might live in their own towns up in the sky. Apparently they are fast and can go anywhere from the ground to the top our earthly sky. They can be wherever they choose to. After all we don’t feel them. Nothing can stop them from tempting us, follow us or even repent and become good jinns.
The old saying remains, you can’t fear what you don’t see, perhaps that’s the reason why they’re so hidden.

What is God’s relationship with you?

The question isn’t what is YOUR relationship with God but what is GOD’S relationship with you.

Do you even question yourself about it? Do you care?

Well, I do and I care, hence I question myself. Religious people tend to say “Yes I have a good relationship with God, I know that He’s there for me, I always ask God’s help whenever I need it….” that shows your side of the relationship but not His.

Most people nowadays forget that their life on earth is a provisory state of existence and that nothing belongs to us as God is the owner and creator of all. We merely borrow a piece of Earth to live on.
We must be grateful for what we have no matter the quantity.
There is no obligation that puts God in a state to grant you anything. If you have the car that you have is because God granted your wish to have a car. If you have that gorgeous outfit it isn’t thanks to your choosing skills but because God granted you the job that you have which allowed you to have that money with which you bought the outfit. The examples are countless.

Everything is connected. You lose your job, you lose all the opportunities with it. Don’t take everything for granted.
I’ve noticed that God granted me many blessings in my life for which I’m grateful. I know that I would never have had them if it wasn’t for His kindness toward me. I discovered that there is way for the human beings to make a bond with God. It is a connection that can be felt if you know how to find it. That makes you ponder on His relationship with you. He knows you more than anyone can, it is a reson for you to make a bond with Him.

God is providing us His attention everyday of our lives, the only thing He asks of us in return is to believe in Him. We can see that through History, and mentioned so many times in the Bible, Torah and Quran.
You might have heard this short story before, but I’m sure not this way, so read on:

Your Lord called to Moses, “Go to the tyrannical people. The people of Pharaoh. Will they not fear?”

He said, “My Lord, I fear they will reject me. And I become stressed, and my tongue is not fluent, so send Aaron too. And they have a charge against me, so I fear they will kill me.

God said, “No. Go, both of you, with Our proofs. We will be with you, listening. Go to Pharaoh, and say, ‘We are the Messengers of the Lord of the Worlds. Let the Children of Israel go with us.’“

Pharaoh said, “Did we not raise you among us as a child, and you stayed among us for many of your years? And you committed that deed you committed, and you were ungrateful.”
Moses said, “I did it then, when I was of those astray. And I fled from you when I feared you; but my Lord gave me wisdom, and made me one of the messengers. Is that the favor you taunt me with, although you have enslaved the Children of Israel?”
Pharaoh said, “And what is the Lord of the Worlds?”
He said, “The Lord of the heavens and the earth, and everything between them, if you are aware.”
Pharaoh said to those around him, “Do you not hear?”
He said, “Your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of old.”
Pharaoh said, “This messenger of yours, who is sent to you, is crazy.”
He said, “Lord of the East and the West, and everything between them, if you understand.”
Pharaoh said, “If you accept any god other than me, I will make you a prisoner.”
He said, “What if I bring you something convincing?”
Pharaoh said, “Bring it, if you are being truthful.”
So Moses cast his staff; and it was a serpent, plain to see. And he pulled his hand; and it was white, for all to see.
Pharaoh said to the dignitaries around him, “This is a skilled magician. He intends to drive you out of your land with his magic, so what do you recommend?”
They said, “Delay him and his brother, and send recruiters to the cities. To bring you every experienced magician.”
So the magicians were gathered for the appointment on a specified day. And it was said to the people, “Are you all gathered? That we may follow the magicians, if they are the winners.”
When the magicians arrived, they said to Pharaoh, “Is there a reward for us, if we are the winners?”
Pharaoh said, “Yes, and you will be among those favored.”
Moses said to them, “Present what you intend to present.”
So they threw their ropes and their sticks, and said, “By the majesty of Pharaoh, we will be the winners.”
Then Moses threw his staff, and behold, it began swallowing their trickery. And the magicians fell down prostrating.
They said, “We have believed in the Lord of the Worlds. The Lord of Moses and Aaron.”
Pharaoh said, “Did you believe in Him before I have given you permission? He must be your chief, who taught you magic. You will soon know. I will cut off your hands and feet on opposite sides, and I will crucify you all.”
They said, “No problem. To our Lord we will return. We are eager for our Lord to forgive us our sins, since we are the first of the believers.”
And We inspired Moses: “Travel with My servants by night. You will be followed.”
Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities. “These are a small gang. And they are enraging us. But we are a vigilant multitude.”
So We drove them out of gardens and springs. And treasures and noble dwellings. So it was. And We made the Children of Israel inherit them. And they pursued them at sunrise. When the two groups sighted each other, the followers of Moses said, “We are being overtaken.”
Moses said, “No; my Lord is with me, He will guide me.”
We inspired Moses: “Strike the sea with your staff.” Whereupon it parted, and each part was like a huge hill. And there We brought the others near. And We saved Moses and those with him, all together. Then We drowned the others. In that there is a sign, but most of them are not believers.
Surely, your Lord is the Almighty, the Merciful.

And relate to them the story of Abraham. When he said to his father and his people, “What do you worship?”
They said, “We worship idols, and we remain devoted to them.”
He said, “Do they hear you when you pray? Or do they benefit you, or harm you?”
They said, “But we found our ancestors doing so.”
He said, “Have you considered what you worship. You and your ancient ancestors? They are enemies to me, but not so the Lord of the Worlds. He who created me, and guides me. He who feeds me, and waters me. And when I get sick, He heals me. He who makes me die, and then revives me. He who, I hope, will forgive my sins on the Day of the Reckoning.”
“My Lord! Grant me wisdom, and include me with the righteous. And give me a reputation of truth among the others. And make me of the inheritors of the Garden of Bliss. And forgive my father—he was one of the misguided. And do not disgrace me on the Day they are resurrected. The Day when neither wealth nor children will help. Except for him who comes to God with a sound heart.”
And Paradise will be brought near for the righteous. And the Blaze will be displayed to the deviators. And it will be said to them, “Where are those you used to worship?” Besides God. Can they help you, or help themselves?” Then they will be toppled into it, together with the seducers. And the soldiers of Satan, all of them.
They will say, as they feud in it. “By God, We were in evident error. For equating you with the Lord of the Worlds. No one misled us except the sinners. Now we have no intercessors. And no sincere friend. If only we could have another chance, we would be among the faithful.”
Surely in this is a sign, but most of them are not believers.
Your Lord is the Almighty, the Merciful.

The people of Noah disbelieved the messengers. Their brother Noah said to them, “Do you not fear? I am to you a faithful messenger. So fear God, and obey me. I ask of you no payment for this. My payment is only from the Lord of the Worlds. So fear God, and obey me.”
They said, “Shall we believe in you, when it is the lowliest who follow you?”
He said, “What do I know about what they do? Their account rests only with my Lord, if you have sense. And I am not about to drive away the believers. I am only a clear warner.”
They said, “If you do not refrain, O Noah, you will be stoned.”
He said, “My Lord, my people have denied me. So judge between me and them decisively, and deliver me and the believers who are with me.
So We delivered him and those with him in the laden Ark. Then We drowned the rest. In that is a sign, but most of them are not believers.
Your Lord is the Almighty, the Merciful.

The people of Lot disbelieved the messengers. When their brother Lot said to them, “Do you not fear? I am to you a faithful messenger. So fear God, and obey me. I ask of you no payment for it. My payment is only from the Lord of the Worlds. Do you approach the males of the world? And forsake the wives your Lord created for you? Indeed, you are intrusive people.”
They said, “Unless you refrain, O Lot, you will be expelled.”
He said, “I certainly deplore your conduct.” “My Lord, save me and my family from what they do.”
So We saved him and his family, altogether. Except for an old woman among those who tarried. Then We destroyed the others. And We rained down on them a rain. Dreadful is the rain of those forewarned.
Surely in this is a sign, but most of them are not believers.
Your Lord is the Almighty, the Merciful.
It is a revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. The Faithful Spirit came down with it. Upon your heart, that you may be one of the warners.
