The winner of Around a cup of Tea

The winner is:

Epilepsy and migraine meds. A few 3×5 cards for quick notes. A pen. A spare pair of glasses. Chargers and cords for everything! Mints, and a tiny pair of scissors.

I would like to mention Deb, she answered very sweetly and i loved it. Please read it if you can .

My Answer:

I have a small bag but well furnished: Plasters, a small amount of antibiotic cream, a few tablets (ibroprofene, anti acid, caffeine), a torch, a compass, a rain cap, mp3 player and my small little precious Swiss knife.

Never know when they’ll come in handy.

First of all, thank you guys for being here. I must say that, today was harder than usual. I thank you as well for letting me know about these books. But there was only one possible winner, and I choose her because there was more than the title of the books.

The winner is:

The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton….. I must have read it 14 times! I wasn’t real young but I was around 13-14 years old. Prior to that, probably Lassie Come Home. I was a sucker for kids and animals. Both very sad books.

My answer:
As a child I always read any book twice, because I wanted it to stay for a long time in my head. But there were books which I read more than twice such as The Lord of the Rings or some of the Harry Potter’s, The mysterious island, 80 days around the world among others.

My thoughts… When a detail is triggered, in our current setting, (through one of our senses), that is similar to a former memory or remnant of a memory, our brain re-creates that scene again.

My answer :

Some places, some events seem to have happened before, because life IS a routine and some events repeat themselves every once in a while, if  not every few years. Maybe the brain interprets those events as if they’ve been lived in the same place just once; when we believe that we’re living a déjà-vu.
