Around a Cup of Tea

Let’s say that you have a dying tree, a mature birch tree for instance and you need to cut it down. You’ll have 5 tools or less to pick, Which one will you chose ?

Iron pole

A stone (whatever the size and shape)

Water

Rope (whatever the lenght)

A bunch of wood

A cow

A phone

A plastic bag

A tyre

A turkey

A few birds

A double wopper

Some gasoline

A gun

A pillow

A torch

Bags of sand

Some leather straps

Some money

You'll never know what you'll read next. Random lecture is what is all about but one thing is for sure, it's by the same author who wrote The Theory of Fate and Who Went Out of Africa

  1. Haha because you’re from the UK, “a few birds” made me laugh. Then I saw Rope and Leather Straps and my mind went to places… Lol
Once I cleaned up a little, 😂 I made my choice, but Linda made the main one already.
Money, enough to hire a tree service plus more
Phone, for calling the tree service, plus ordering some food and supplies, a table, and other things
Water, in bottles, for everyone to drink
A few birds, haha, to serve everyone
And a turkey, fully cooked, placed on the table I ordered, next to the catering I ordered, feasted upon by the friends I called with the phone, inviting you all to dinner. The workers can have some too. 😊

                    1. It’s one of the foibles of the written word, especially for a deep thinker who considers more possibilities than the average person. I understand you. It’s okay!
Ward Clever is a pseudonym just as Novus Lectio is. NL is fine, but WC not so much, lol
